FAQs

  • Since I lead a busy life I need to keep my routine simple. What are the absolute skincare basics?
Following a skincare routine might seem tedious, but it does not have to be complicated. You can simply follow the CTM routine. Cleanse your skin using a mild cleanser, use an alcohol-free toner and then moisturize your skin with a nourishing moisturizer. The three-step routine will keep your skin healthy.
  • What are the most important parts of a skincare routine?
Apart from following the cleanse, tone and moisture skincare routine, you need to also keep your skin safe from the harmful rays of the sun. The damage can result in dark spots, wrinkles, and also there is a risk of skin cancer. Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen lotion or spray to keep you protected.
  • I have oily skin. Do I really need to moisturize?
We talk about this a lot and for good reason: oily skin really does need moisturizer. Did you know? The very best way to combat oily skin is to moisturize! Without moisturizer, the skin produces even more oil, leading to more shine and, for some, more acne. Remember: people with oily skin need oil-free, light moisturizers that hydrate without being greasy.
  • Do you do animal testing?
Three sister organics has a super strict cruelty free policy. No products or source ingredients are tested on animals and we have the PETA certification to prove it! We do not test on any animals (except willing humans of course!) and we have adhered to cruelty free practices from first launch. Our manufacturing and testing processes are completely free from animal testing and we only source from suppliers who do not test on animals.
  • What are the expiry dates for Three Sisters Organics products?
Most Three sisters organics products will last up to 24 months unopened from date of manufacture. On all packaging there is also an international open jar icon. This icon will show you the shelf life of the product once opened.
  • Seriously, what is a serum? "
I get this question all the time. Here’s the answer: Serums are special because they are formulated with smaller molecules of concentrated ingredients—which makes it possible for them to penetrate the skin deeper and deliver more active ingredients than other skincare products. When we use these at night (when the skin is hard at work repairing itself), It’s possible to get the full benefit of the serum.
  • Why is my skin still dry?
I’m always moisturizing! There are two answers to this question, and I’m willing to bet that every dry gal or guy falls into one of two categories. The first: If you’re not exfoliating, there’s no way for moisturizer to penetrate through layers of dead skin cells and be effective. The second: You’re using the wrong moisturizer for your skin type.
